GERMANY It seems as if reggae enjoyed some popularity in Germany around 1970, at least in a small circle. Anyway, some very interesting albums were released, with sublime covers and humorous liner notes. Albums of one artist, and also compilation LP's containing the well-known hits from the Trojan label. Those hits also surfaced on separate singles. Just like the albums, they were released on the Philips or Fontana label and contained the print 'Original Reggae'.
